Hi,
I have just purchased Ritz Vxi and looking for a killer audio system as per the following details:

Car: Ritz Vxi
Existing equipment installed : None
Music tastes : country music with focus on vocals, RnB,instrumentals and ocassionally heavy metal, should have incredible clarity, bass is not of importance
Budget : Rs.20-25k
Location:Hyderabad

The head unit should have USB port, auxiliary port,Ipod connectivity & should play DVDs since later i might add a LCD screen. The vocals should be of utmost clarity with no distortion.which amp would you suggest?? A mono channel or a 2-channel..Suggest the best available combination for this budget..

Thank you,

Hey, this Kenwood KDV-MP5343U DVD receiver is awesome. I donno the cost may be 12K or so. And go with co-axial speakers in front & rear by blaupunkt or JBL. Blaupunkt is what i prefer; they have co-axials with external crossover. Sound very good. They fit in this budget.

If you like subwoofer then buy 4-channel amp & connect to front speakers and a subwoofer.

hey don`t you think a 4 channel amp is a bit too much for a hatchback...can a 2-channel amp do the job...also what brand of amp would you suggest??

2-channel amp will do if you use it only for subwoofer or only for 1 set of speakers.
I have good faith in Rockford fosgate, blaupunkt and Sony when it comes to amplifiers.

Seriously Mono amp is the ideal for sub. But I tried to fit my views in the given budget.
Mono's are damn costly too.
