Best Audio for Getz 1.1

Hi,

Just came across your great site which is very useful for total beginners like me! Really need your help.
Questions: looking to buy a car audio system with bluetooth (HU+front and rear door speakers) for my Getz 1.1 as per the following details.

Car : Getz GVS(Option) (bought last year)
Existing equipment installed : None
Music tastes : Easy listening with good sound quality (not super loud and not with super strong bass and definitely not a vibrating car)
Budget : Not a Constraint

Head unit should have all basic features. Also, very important, simple configuration of speakers for the Getz which will be easy to install. No customised installation, special drilling through doors and dashboards and god knows what else

I drive 100 kms a week so let me know whether my battery will sufice the power needs.

Further I request your views on HU with Bluetooth as most of the vendors say this is not effective.

I think, You can go for Pioneer 6150BT (16,990/-) or Sony MEX-BT3850U (12,990/-)
Both are good HUs if you are looking for Bluetooth connectivity. And they are pretty stable for handsfree operation.

Regarding the speakers, you can add 6-1/2" speakers in the front & rear in door locations. Or in the rear, you may also put 6x9" oval speakers on a parcel tray.

I prefer fitting both speakers in door locations, it creates very good sound stage in Getz. And for extra bass you can think of adding a subwoofer, if you feel so.

Look at Polk audio db651 or JBL GT5-S265. And if you go with oval speakers, I highly recomment db690.

Actually, you can get much better detailed sound with component speakers in the front. Look into Polk Audio DB 6501 or JBL GT5-S265C for that.

and
XS-GT16412  - 4 way co-axial

is a good combo.

That means I have to buy XS-GT16212S - components (i.e twitter) along with
XS-GT16412  - 4 way co-axial. Or shall I go with XS-GT16412 only.

BTW u hv not answered my query of my battery compatibility with Sony MEX-BT3850U & these speakers.

XS-GT16212S will contain a pair of woofer + tweeter. Fit them in the front door.
XS-GT16412 is just a pair of woofers - for rear door.

Well, no issues with respect to battery in this setup for Getz. Since you are running them from HU directly, you can't power them more than 22 Watts (RMS) So, nothing to worry.

Is it possible to install XS-GT16212S (woofer + tweeter) without drilling through front doors and dashboards of Getz.

Yes.. Its woofer ...not subwoofer. It will fit in door without any cutting.
Tweeters will be mounted on dashboard, corners.

Is it compulsory to install Amplifiers along with XS-GT16412 & XS-GT16212S.

I dont think amp is mandatory. It is required to louder sound.
also it improves the sound quality. For component speakers it is very much recommended.
It is like, if you can afford it, its great.
