Well, its a good brand. One thing to note is that its a class AB amp. I usually recommend class D mono amp over class AB. Class AB have the efficiency of about 50%. Say you wanna run it at 470 Watts RMS on a load of 2 ohms, it requires to output approx 14 amps. onto sub coil. And do give out this it requires double the current from battery. So, summing up all the circuitry, the amperage load on your battery would be very close to max. it can source.

Though, you won't be running the system in full volume level always, I would recommend adding a capacitor for the sub. It will help it reproduce those high peaks that create momentary high demands on battery.

Yeah Raghu, I understood what you meant to say. So can i reach higher volumes for a long period if the capacitor is added? Suggest me some VFM capacitor from a decent manufacturer & what is the price of STINGER capacitor? I heard good reviews about stinger.

Stinger are class caps. and then very costly too. Check with the same dealer who supplied KICKER to you. Its distributed by same person Smiley

I think Tsunami 1.2 farad cap. is good enough. (check for this http://www.tsunamionline.com/products6.html)

or even the scosche one (http://www.scosche.com/products/productID/867)

Lanzar also have got good caps.

Ram, Amazing !!

Howz the SQ? I am sure KICKER is giving good thump. Is this ready wooden enclosure, voluminous enough to meet the enclosure recommendations for COMPVR 12 ?

Headunit is pretty impressive.

Thanx Raghu. I'm completely impressed by the SQ the system produces. The Kickers really kick pretty hard & my hatch lid couldn't resist its thump & rattles flawlessly even after damping. Need to damp again. The readymade enclosure is perfect for the CVR as per the manual...Its 1.2 cu.ft actually. Some of the guys told that my setup is SPL & SQ will be absent. But contradictory to their statements my setup turned out to be a SQL - (SQ + SPL) coz of HU & the CVR. The HU is splendiferous & magic lies in the Kenny Smiley

@Ram, May i know what is the price of overall setup?

One important question:
How is FM reception? As its US release model, it has FM freq step of 200kHz.
Are you missing some FM stations?
