Hello everyone!!!
I am Vikram Madhav Shinde and i have just purchased a Zen Lxi which is 2003 model.
I am a great fan of music specially Trance i love it.
After reading many forums i am a bit confused about which Music system to Opt for so here i am to ask everyone about the music system for my Zen.

Head Unit            : Pioneer DEH2190UB
Rear Speakers     : Kicker DS6930
Subwoofer          : Kenwood W3012
Amplifier             : Blaupunkt GTA4 Special MK2

now this is what i have selected for now , i need all your valuable feedbacks and even suggestions to make the setup even better. My budget is 22K.

After speaking to Mr.raghu he asked to post a request and yes Mr.Raghu your feedback is also valuable and even others.

thanks in advance.

Guys, I suggested the following setup... Please share your opinions on this:

As I was telling yesterday, you can choose a component speaker system for the front door. Blaupunkt GTc 662 Mk II can be a good choice there.
And in the rear, you can use the Kicker speaker that you have thought of. And, The Kenwood subwoofer will fit. If you are not particular on Kenwood, I would suggest Blaupunkt subwoofer GTw 1200 Mk II. You need to buy a 1.25 cu. ft. subwoofer box made of MDF wood to fit the subwoofer. Use 8 guage cable for subwoofer wiring.

Connections from Amp:

It has 4 channels:
2-channels --> Front left & roght.
Other 2-channels --> Bridged Mode --> 1-channel ---> Subwoofer

@Raghu, I suggest using 3190 instead. He needs a sub. so 2-3 preamp output are helpful instead of line converter.

Why not Blaupunkt HU?

SubWoofer : JBL GTO 1215 [12"] (3350/-)

Including wiring & box the totl comes to Rs.22660/-

Pioneer 3150? Where are you getting it?
Its sold in Singapore & Malaysia. For India Pioneer has 90 as the code. So, 3190UB is Indian version and is with bill & warranty, though they are supplying few models ending in '50' but 3150 for sure.

Is he selling 3150 with bill and warranty? Its a good price !!

Are you using amp for subwoofer or to these reference speakers also? If you are using amp for rear speaker, Technically you should drop Infinity 9633i, It is a 2-ohm speaker; Don't know if JBL GT5 S664  is stable at 2-ohms.

Subwoofer is good too !

ok Tell me about your setup. What front speakers you have?
You can setup front speakers with amp and use the same amp for subwoofer. This case you can even use your reference series speakers in the rear.

I didn't see the front speaker in your list.

Initially setup that i had decided was :

1) Head Unit        : Pioneer 2190ub
2) Rear speakers : Kicker DS6930
3) Subwoofer      : Kenwood W3012
4) Amplifier          : Blaupunkt GTA4 Special MK2

Later i decide to go with this setup :

1) Head Unit        : Pioneer 3150ub
2) Rear speakers : JBL 947
3) Subwoofer      : JBL GTO 1215 [ 12 " ]
4) Amplifier          : JBL GT5 S644

So what changes do you think i should go for.
Can you suggest me good stable setup for my ZEN.

@Anil, Actually I was suggesting to for components , as he has amp in the basket.
So, I was thinking to power front components using 2-channels and the other 2-channels for subwoofer. This leaves rear speakers to be directly connected to HU.

In this case I don't see any issues, he can even go with the Infinity 9633i as well - its a good speakers.

@Vikram, Pioneer 3150UB is a good system. You can go for it.
I guess your subwoofer is JBL CS 1215, not the GTO series.
Find a good 1.25 cu. ft. subwoofer enclosure - sealed type for the subwoofer.
And get an amp wiring kit from tsunami of scosche...

Hope it helps
