Rear Speakers for Xing !!

Hi Audio Experts

I own a Santro Xing with Sony xplod reciever "CDX-GT370S" ,factory fitted 2 ordinary front and 2 rear speakers(Not sure which model and design and our fitted on the sides of the tray) with good sound but no great bass & effects.
Will it help if i upgrade the rear speakers to oval speakers of some kind ? If so what brand and model ? My budget is around 3K.

I would also like to know if it would be a good idea to use the existing 2 rear speakers along with the new oval speakers ?

Frankly speaking, Its difficult to comment without knowing the existing speakers. There are good brands like polk audio & blaupunkt, with which you can get good effects. Polk audio's db690 can be a good choice for rear ovals. It comes approx. in your budget too.

Don't use two sets on the rear. It will worsen the soundstage.
